DENVER—Oct. 26, 2020—Swiftable’s Jabberwocky 2.0 has officially released, marking a milestone in touch-free mobile accessibility. Users with just a few inches of head movement can completely control their Android devices to write emails, browse the web, watch videos, and use any game or app.

Jabberwocky user Jim Greaves says: “Thanks to the relentless nature of ALS, I have become very capable in alternative ways to access computers and smartphones. The [Jabberwocky team] have created a truly useful application. Navigating a touch interface without hands is here and it's enjoyable!”

Jabberwocky 2.0 is a ground-up redesign to make touch-free accessibility more responsive, easy, efficient, and fun. The Jabberwocky team has developed a proprietary artificial intelligence engine to create a new user-driven experience. Jabberwocky 2.0 also supports many new devices, and in the future, will support new platforms such as desktop computers.

Previous versions of Jabberwocky relied on Google’s ARCore to track head movement and facial gestures. Jabberwocky 2.0’s new engine incorporates the latest research in the field and uses software frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow Lite, and OpenCV.

Jabberwocky Touch-Free Accessibility is available today on the Google Play Store for free at play.google.com by searching for the keyword “Jabberwocky”.
